I would like more information about Catechesis of the Good Shepherd (CGS).CGS.png

The Catechesis of the Good Shepherd (CGS) is an approach to the religious formation for children ages 3 - 12. It originated in 1954 through the work of Dr. Sofia Cavalletti. The methodology of the Catechesis utilizes Montessori teaching principles to help children develop an informed and genuine relationship with God.

Classes are held Tuesday mornings and Tuesday evenings from 5:00 - 7:00 PM at St. Mary of Czestochowa Parish. Click here to download and complete the registration form for CGS. Email completed form to Jamie Dillon, Pastoral Associate of Faith Formation, or return to the Mount Saint Peter parish office (100 Freeport Road, New Kensington, PA 15068).
